Ruth asks…
How can I get comments on my photoblog?
I’ve had a photoblog for a few months and I know I’ve had about 10,000 hits or so, but just 2 comments. I know people rarely leave comments on photoblogs (unless maybe they’re your friends). Does anyone have an idea where I could post requests for comments for example, by announcing it on a forum or group without seeming pushy? I noticed that the national Magazine “MAXIM’S” has a photoblog and even they rarely get comments.

Dann Dunbar answers:
Ask for them. You could be amazed. I once had a photograph that had over 100,000 clicks but not a word was said.
Tell your audience that you would really appreciate comments…they will respond. It upped my comments.

Donna asks…
How do you view previous comments posted on a youtube video?
I’ve commented on numerous videos, and get messages on youtube whenever someone replies to one. However, there is no way for me to actually FIND that comment, or the reply, since the videos I comment usually have many more comments afterwards, and it’s impossible to scroll through all of them to find mine. Is there an easier way?

Dann Dunbar answers:
Nope
However, if you want to reply to that person, you don’t need to find the original comment to literally click ‘reply’ next to –
all you have to do is go to the video and in the comment box type @ and then put the person’s username and whatever you type will be sent to that person’s inbox so they will see your response.
